ZONTA SAYS NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
Drama Therapy for Domestic Violence Victims

Sponsored by the Zonta Club of Victoria, the Purple Red Project II (紫紅計劃 2) used drama therapy to support women who were victims of domestic violence.  Together, the participants co-created a play script for public performance and the script was also transformed into an illustrated story book.

At the sharing session, drama therapist will share how to facilitate participants to re-experience "being understood" and "being accepted".  Participants will share how they were encouraged to narrate their own experiences in life, explore their personal potential and cope with domestic violence.
