"An Unprecedented Musical Feat"
The Long Walk is a journey
in music, images and songs in response to the 2004 Morecambe Bay
tragedy in which 23 cocklers lost their lives. The Long Walk
features words from acclaimed writer Lemn Sissay, powerfully
sung by professional musicians and a massed community choir
against a dramatic backdrop of evocative digitally projected
images which take the audience on a powerful and sensory journey
through people’s lives and across continents.
