Call for Drawings of “My Mona Lisa”

Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the best known oil paintings from the Renaissance period. Her smile in the painting is mysterious and yet immensely attractive. Numerous artists over the years including Duchamp* and contemporary pop artists have been inspired and come up with new works with new interpretation and meanings.
This international competition aims to promote arts by persons with disabilities who are encouraged to create works of their great imagination.
So you, who has great wealth of imagination, how would you portray your own Mona Lisa? Maybe you are the Da Vinci of this century!
*The French artist “Marcel Duchamp” was a pioneer in anti-art, a post-modern painter. Making use of the new approach to phychology and perspective, he brought about a transformation of the art form. In 1919, he formulated his thoughts on the principles of art and he boldly drew a moustache on a replica of the painting of Mona Lisa and this created a great furore and sensation and generated a heated debate between artists.
