After Hong Kong-Pinoy Theater Festival,
Eliminating Discrimination through Theatre Arts and Asian
Confluence, Asian People’s Theatre Festival Society and Centre for
Community Cultural Development are presenting another project of
Asian Theatre - the Hong Kong-Bangla Theatre Festival 2010!
The Hong Kong Bangla Theatre Festival has invited Ms Shamima
Shawket, a prominent theatre artist from Bangladesh, who is a
member of Aranyak Natyadal, one of the top theatre groups in
Bangladesh founded in 1972. Since 1993, Shamima has been
facilitating theatrical workshop and coordinating audio-visual
production on different artistic, social and economic issues
globally, specializing in traditional dance, acting, singing, and
costume design.
繼《港菲民眾文化戲劇節》、《消除種族歧視戲劇節》及《亞洲匯流》後，亞洲民眾戲劇節協會與社區文化發展中心攜手呈獻又一亞洲民眾文化藝術節

《港孟民眾文化戲劇節》邀得孟加拉扯首屈一指的劇團「來自森林的人劇團」的Shamima
Shawket女士作導師，她將分享多年來累積的豐富演出及導師經驗，與港人分享孟加拉傳統及現代的舞蹈、歌唱及劇場形式，並聯合本港少數族裔朋友透過互動工作坊交流，創作出另一共融劇場演出！ |

After the workshop, participants will be able to
create a showcase with Bangladeshi dance, singing and drama with
tailor-made costumes!
工作坊完結後，參加者將創作出融合孟加拉舞蹈、演唱、服裝及戲劇的小演出！

PERFORMANCE演出 |

Ms Shamima Shawket will be staging a solo
performance of Bangladeshi Dance Theatre back to back with the
showcase of the Workshop. An invited group from The Neighbourhood
Advice Action Council consisting of ethnic minorities and local
Chinese will also perform their piece created from Shamima’s
workshop.
Shamima Shawket女士將個人演出孟加拉舞蹈，工作坊學員亦將展演他們的創作片段。同時鄰舍輔導會東涌綜合服務中心(成員包括不同少數族裔及華人)亦將於完成Shawket女士的工作坊後作邀請演出。
