Hayashibara International Arts Festival ’Rising Stars’
Call for Drawing of “MY DORAEMON”

The Hayashibara International Arts Festival ‘Rising Stars 2010’ is now calling for “My Doraemon” drawings. The Hayashibara Foundation first organized the Rising Starts Exhibition in 2003 to support persons with disabilities who have great talents in art. Through these “Rising Stars” exhibitions, it is hoped that the hearts of the people all over the world are linked up. Since 2006, Hayashibara Foundation has collaborated with the Centre for Community Cultural Development to incorporate the talents of Hong Kong into “Rising Stars”. Following the successes of Drawing
Calligraphy, the Human Portraits, My Mona Lisa and Mind Painters, the Centre for Community and the Hayashibara Foundation are calling for “My Doraemon” drawings. With full support from TV Asahi Corporation and Fujiko Pro Co. Ltd., this promises to be a highly publicized event. Professor Yohei Nishimura from Japan Women’s University, curator and master mind behind previous “Rising Stars” exhibitions, will continue to be the curator for this event.

The “My Doraemon” exhibition will embrace art works from Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Nepal, France and America.

We are looking forward to your participation and your wonderful and creative power in drawing ‘My Doraemon’ this time !
