There will be two Open Symposiums and Four 3-day Workshops
facilitated by the world’s top pioneer dramatherapists. Local experience would
be shared. All the workshops and symposium will be held at the Kwai Chung
Hospital.

An
Experiential Journey with Sesame
芝麻體驗之旅工作坊
The essence of the Sesame Approach lies in its experiential
focus.
In our closed group we will explore the roots of the Sesame
approach through an interweaving of experiential sessions,
theory and reflection. We will explore the connections we make
to our working experiences and to case material and consider the
application of the approach to our working practices.
The sessions will weave in the Sesame themes of Movement with
Touch and Sound, Laban Movement Analysis, working with Symbol
and Story, the importance of Play, and the theory of Jung.
It will be important for the participants to wear comfortable
clothing to allow freedom of movement.
參加者將透過芝麻方法體驗接觸與聲音、形體、象徵與故事、戲劇之重要性以及分析心理學始創者Carl
Jung的理論,從而發掘如何將芝麻方法應用於實踐當中。

Emma Westcott
is a
Sesame Movement and Drama Therapist, an Integrative Arts
Psychotherapist and has been working as a clinician since
1990.Alongside clinical practice Emma has taught at the Sesame
Institute; at Central School of Speech and Drama; and on Psyche and
Soma, UK.

戲劇治療之模範 - 英雄/英雌的命運
In this workshop, Robert Landy will demonstrate the drama therapy concepts of role, counterrole and guide through the structure of the classical hero’s journey. The group members will engage in an experience creating their own hero’s journey through writing, movement, drawing and enactment. Following the experience, the group will reflect upon the work and seek to understand it in terms of both their personal life experience and its application to professional work within psychiatric facilities.
參加者將會認識經典英雄/英雌的命運之結構,以寫作、形體、繪畫及法則創作自己的英雄/英雌,從而體驗戲劇治療中角色、對手和嚮導的概念,並將探討他們的個人經歷及精神治療之實踐應用方法。

Ph.D., RDT/BCT, LCAT is Professor of Educational Theatre and Applied
Psychology and Director of the Drama Therapy Program at New York
University. A pioneer in the profession of Drama Therapy, he
lectures and trains professionals internationally.

In this workshop Anna Chesner will be exploring the foundations of psychodrama in creativity/spontaneity and the application of role analysis within the clinical setting. The workshop offers an opportunity
• to experience psychodrama
• to process the work at a theoretical level
to consider the principles of the specialist application of this method within a mentalisation based therapeutic community within a psychiatric hospital.

trained as a dramatherapist and as a psychodrama psychotherapist and
group analytic psychotherapist. She is co-director of The London
Centre for Psychodrama Group and Individual Psychotherapy.

The Application of the 5 Stage Integrative Model in Drama Therapy
戲劇治療五階段整合模式之應用
In a paced, progressive manner, participants will actively experience drama therapy methods - from playful, interactive techniques, to role play of fictional and real-life scenarios, to the more personal and emotional possibilities in this work. The ways in which drama therapy can help people access their creativity, spontaneity, emotions, and dormant parts of themselves will be demonstrated, and the specific ways in which these methods can be applied in psychiatric settings will be discussed.
參加者將可循步漸進地體驗積極的戲劇治療方法,從有趣及互動的技巧,到虛構及寫實的角色扮演,以至發掘個人創意、自發性、情感及潛伏的各方面
的方法。工作坊亦會討論此等方法在精神治療的應用方法。

Renee Emunah, PhD, RDT/BCT
is the founder/director of the graduate Drama Therapy Program at the
California Institute of Integral Studies. She is the author of the
book Acting for Real. A pioneer in the field of drama therapy, she
has practiced drama therapy for over 30 years, including 15 years in
psychiatric settings.
Renee Emunah為加州整合研究學院戲劇治療碩士創辦人,著作有《從換幕到真實》及與David
Johnson合著《戲劇治療面貌》。曾擔任美國戲劇治療協會會長,並致力推廣戲劇治療,有逾三十年的戲劇治療服務的經驗,亦曾獲頒發美國戲劇治療協會傑出貢獻獎。 |

The Symposium will include speakers
from local hospitals and organizations, keynotes from Robert Landy and
Emma Westcott, and panel discussion with local drama therapists.

Closing Symposium 閉幕研討會
The Closing Symposium will include
keynotes from Anna Chesner, Renee Emunah, report by Hong Kong
drama therapists Eddie Yu and Dorothy Wong on their work with
patient groups at the Kwai Chung Hospital. The symposium will be concluded by a
Playback Theatre performance by the Encounter Group.
