社區文化發展中心創立於2004年，乃非牟利慈善團體。社區文化發展致力推廣社區文化發展(Community Cultural Development)。社區文化發展是社區藝術工作者/組織者透過種種藝術媒介，協助社區坊眾或不同的社群表達身份、理想和期望，藉此建構文化力量，從而促進社會變革和締造全人藝術的社會。

Founded in 2004, Centre for Community Cultural Development is a registered charity. It seeks to promote and practice community cultural development. Community cultural development work is the joint collaboration of cultural workers and communities utilizing the arts and other cultural media to voice out, to express identity and aspiration. Through such activities, cultural capacities, and a world of justice filled with arts and creativity maybe built.
